LEARN TO MEDITATE
1. Introductory talk
Peter gives free introductory talks regularly, which go into more detail on:
- the background to the technique
- how it works – simple mechanics of the mind & body
- the benefits
- how it's learnt
- how to include it in your everyday life
- the cost of learning the technique (negotiable)
This talk will give you all the information you need to help you decide if
learning Vedic Meditation is for you.
Feel free to ask any questions. The talk usually lasts for approximately 1
hour.
2. Interview with the teacher
Once you decide to learn, you have a short interview with Peter and agree on a suitable time and date to start the course of instruction.
3. Instruction in the technique
The teaching of the technique takes about an hour, and is taught in a structured manner alone with the teacher. This gives you enough knowledge of the basic mechanics to practice the technique at home.
4. Followup sessions for three days
The purpose of these sessions is to stabilise the practice of the technique by discussing experiences and supplying practical understanding of correct meditation. These sessions run for about an hour to an hour and a half.
5. Ongoing support
There are optional followup sessions and advanced meetings to answer any questions or deal with individual issues. Peter is also available for phone and email contact.
